We have made a tough decision to stop making any capsules or powders. Tinctures are just so much better all round that we can’t stay true to our values of providing the best quality and service if we don’t focus on our tinctures. For this reason we are focusing on spreading the tincture love and continuing the tincture revolution.

We only use mushroom fruiting body in all of our tinctures. We never use any mycelium, so you can rest assured that what you are consuming is entirely functional mushroom. We dont believe in adding growing mediums such as grain. This not only reduces the potency but also increases the amount of starch. Using fruiting body ensures our tinctures are as potent as possible. 

No, Mogo Farm tinctures have no psychoactive properties. All of our tinctures are made of only functional mushrooms.

We package everything here in Derbyshire, UK. All tinctures are extracted, processed, packaged and distributed from Derbyshire, UK. This means we can ensure a short supply chain. You can be certain your tincture has not been on a ship or flight for long periods of time without temperature control. Furthermore we only make small batches of tincture at a time which ensures consistency in the freshness and quality of our tinctures.

We actually grow some mushrooms like Cordyceps and Lion's Mane here on the farm. The mushrooms which we don't grow ourselves, we source from specialist local UK based mushroom growers! Alternatively, our team of experts sustainably forage where possible. Lean more here!

Alcohol is a tremendous solvent to extract all the alcohol soluble compounds from functional mushrooms. We then run a hot water extraction to extract all the water soluble compounds creating an extremely potent dual extraction with an overall alcohol content of 30%. We use a triple distilled organic food grade ethanol.

Squeezing your pipette directly under your tongue every day is the quickest and most effective way to use your tincture.

The recommended dose of each Mogo Farm tincture is 1-2ml twice per day. So the maximum recommended dose is 4ml per day. 

1 squeeze of your pipette is 1ml of tincture – this will fill roughly ⅓ of the pipette. 

2 squeezes of the pipette is 1 serving.

Yes, we recommend combining tinctures to get more benefits from functional mushrooms. We personally love a mushroom tincture blend and use our 5 Blend tincture.

It’s best to find a time that has the least impact on your current routine, that way you will most likely stay consistent with it and reap the long term benefits. We recommend having a 3 day break every 4 weeks. This ensures maximum efficacy for long term use. 

It's best practice to stick to the recommended dose per tincture per day. Our tinctures are very potent and so there is no need to over do it.

At present we do not have non-alcoholic tincture, however in the near future we are looking to launch a full non-alcohol range.

We get asked this alot and the answer is YES, your dog can use Mogo Farm tinctures. Be mindful that our tinctures contain alcohol which may not be the most appealing to your dog but the health benefits are worth it. Our tinctures can be added to any dog treat or water making it an easy addition to any diet plan. We advise speaking to a professional vet for further advice.
